(The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Misan works to prepare specialized personnel with scientific and professional competence in the fields of physical education and sports sciences. This is achieved through distinguished academic and research programs, a stimulating educational environment, and effective community partnerships. This contributes to achieving sustainable health and sports development in Maysan Governorate and Iraq in general, based on innovative scientific formulas.)

1. Raise the academic and skill levels of college students, enabling them to possess modern research skills and knowledge in the fields of physical education and sports sciences.
2. Achieve integration between educational outcomes and the labor market.
3. Openness to the local and global community and enhance communication to achieve the desired goals.
4. Establishing effective partnerships with sports, educational, and health institutions, both locally and regionally, to enhance the college’s role in serving the community.
5. Supporting student and sports activities and developing students’ leadership, physical, and cultural capabilities, thus contributing to the development of a well-rounded personality.
6. Developing the college’s administrative work system, training leaders and administrative cadres, and encouraging them to innovate and participate in conferences and scientific activities.
7. Developing the sports movement in the government sectors in cooperation with relevant authorities.
8. Working to ensure the college’s inclusion in accredited international specialized rankings.
